Anise Drops
3 eggs, room temperature
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
1 3/4 cups sifted all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Spice Barn Anise Extract

Beat eggs until fluffy.  Gradually add the sugar, beating constantly.  Beat for 20 minutes longer. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt.  Add to ebb mixture.  Beat 3 minutes.  Add anise.  Drop batter by spoonfuls onto a well greased and floured baking sheet.  Let stand uncovered, at room temperature, for 8 hours.  Preheat oven to 325 degrees, bake 10 minutes or until golden in color.  Store in tightly covered containers.
