Savory Roast Chicken
1 chicken
2 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Spice Barn
Whole Savory
Place chicken, breast side up, on rack in
shallow pan. Combine butter, juice, and savory. Brush over chicken. Bake,
uncovered, at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, basting with pan drippings.
Savory Buttered Peas
2 tablespoons butter
1 package frozen green peas
1 cup celery, sliced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons Spice
Whole Savory
2 tablespoons pimento, diced
Melt butter; add next 5 ingredients. Cover
and cook at medium heat 6-8 minutes. Stir in pimento.
