Herbed French Bread
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon Spice Barn Parsley
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon Spice Barn Basil
1/8 teaspoon Spice Barn
Garlic Powder
Combine and spread onto 1 side of bread.
Wrap in foil. (shiny side in) Grill 6-8 minutes till heated through or bake
at 400 degrees 10-12 minutes.
Pasta Vegetable Soup
1 can tomatoes, chopped
1 cup pasta
1 can mixed vegetables
28 ounces vegetable broth
1/4 teaspoon Spice Barn
Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Spice Barn Basil
Mix tomatoes, broth, and spices. Simmer for
5 minutes. Add pasta and cook 10-12 minutes. Add vegetables and heat
through.
Spiced Up Burgers
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup cooked rice
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon Spice Barn Parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon Spice Barn
Garlic Powder
Combine ingredients and mix well. Shape into
4-6 patties. Grill until desired doneness. Serve with sauce.
Sauce: 2/3 cup water, 1/4 cup ketchup, 3 tablespoon chili sauce, 1
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon Spice Barn Basil.
Barbecued Meatballs
3 pounds ground beef
1 12-ounce can evaporated milk
1 cup oats
1 cup cracker crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon Spice Barn
Garlic Powder
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons Spice Barn Chili Powder
2 cups ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon Spice Barn
Garlic Powder
1/3 cup chopped onion
Combine first 10 ingredients. Shape
into 1-1 1/2 inch balls. Place in 13x9 pan. Combine ketchup,
brown sugar, liquid smoke, garlic powder, and onion. Pour over
meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
Herbed Bubble Bread
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon Spice Barn
Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Spice Barn
Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Spice Barn Thyme
1 package frozen roll dough
Combine butter and seasonings. Cut each
roll in half and dip into butter mixture. Place in greased tube pan
and pour on remaining herb mixture. Cover and let rise in a warm place
for 1 hour or until doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20
minutes.
