Poultry Seasoning Recipes

Country Stuffing
4 stalks celery, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
3/4 cup butter
13 cups
13 cups day old bread, crumbled
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Spice Barn Poultry Seasoning

1 teaspoon Spice Barn Rubbed Sage
1 teaspoon Spice Barn Thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 eggs
1 can chicken broth

Sauté onions, celery, and parsley in butter until tender.  Toss bread with seasonings.  Combine eggs and broth; add to bread and toss.  Place in slow cooker; cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, until thermometer reads 160 degrees.

Oven Fried Chicken
6 chicken breasts
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon Spice Barn Poultry Seasoning
1 teaspoon Spice Barn Lemon Pepper
4 egg whites
6 cups crushed corn flakes
cooking spray

Marinate chicken in buttermilk in zip lock bag, refrigerated, for 8 hours.  Drain and discard buttermilk.  Combine flour and seasonings.  Whisk egg white to blend.  Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg white, press into crushed cereal. Arrange on wire rack coated with cooking spray inside foil lined baking sheet.  Coat chicken with cooking spray.  Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
