Old Gulf Seafood Seasoning Recipes      (Scroll to view all)

Shrimp Salad
3 quarts water
1/4 cup Old Gulf Seafood Seasoning
2 pounds unpeeled shrimp
1/2 cup celery, minced
1/3 cup onion, minced
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3/4 teaspoon Old Gulf Seafood Seasoning  
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Bring water and 1/4 cup seasoning to a boil.  Add shrimp and cook 2 minutes; drain.  Cool.  Peel shrimp and devein. Chop shrimp.  Blend celery, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, seasonings.  Stir in shrimp.  Chill 2 hours.

Remoulade Sauce for Shrimp
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup Creole mustard
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
2 tablespoons capers
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Old Gulf Seafood Seasoning  

Stir together all ingredients; cover and chill.  Serve with chilled, cooked shrimp.
