Lemon Peel Recipes

Fruit Kebobs with Lemon Cream
6 ounces lemon yogurt
2 tablespoons cream cheese, at room temperature
1 teaspoon Spice Barn Poppy Seeds
1/2 teaspoon Spice Barn Lemon Peel (reconstituted in water)
fruits:  strawberries, cantaloupe, kiwi, etc.

Combine yogurt and cream cheese; blend till smooth.  Stir in poppy seed and lemon peel.  Refrigerate to blend flavors. Thread fruit on toothpicks or skewers and serve with sauce.

Honey Ginger Steak Kebobs
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon Spice Barn Ground Ginger
1 teaspoon Spice Barn Lemon Peel (reconstituted in water)
12 ounces sirloin steak, cut into cubes
1/4 teaspoon Spice Barn Crushed Red Pepper
1 clove garlic
cherry tomatoes
green pepper, cut into 1" squares

Mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, lemon peel, and crushed red pepper.  Marinate steak a minimum of 2 hours.  Skewer steak alternately with green pepper and tomatoes.  Grill until desired doneness.
